Tribal Prints + Jumpsuits

I recently styled a couple of looks for the Garment District Boutique, featured in the annual Rock The Block fashion show in the Power & Light District and fell in love with tribal prints.  And color.  The event was on a freakishly cool spring evening, and it wasn’t too surprising to see a sea (did you see what I did there?) of black; it was like we belonged to a black jacket gang or something (I’d have preferred Pink Ladies, wink.)

Rock a jumpsuit in tribal print for outdoor concerts and shows

Jumpsuit: Garment District
Necklace: Garment District
Blazer: old Madewell Modern Blazer (see some great blazers in color from Oasap)
Shoes: old Enzo Angiolini (a great deal at 6pm!)
Bag: old Philip Lim 3.1 for Target (the original Philip Lim 3.1 Pashli)

My absolute favorite look for the show was this fun, summery number that’s perfect for festivals, concerts, art fairs and even just a stroll through the neighborhood with your favorite pooch (the doggy variety, not the belly haha!)  The entire look below can be found at the Garment District, 1350 Main Street in Kansas City.

Two ways to wear a skirt with a fold-over waist, plus a crop-top done right!

With a live band, proceeds benefiting Wayside Waifs, featured styles by local boutiques and VIP seating, Rock the Block is definitely an event worth attending.  I’m looking forward to next year!

This entire look can be found at the Garment District in Kansas City.

  1. Oh Erin, I just adore that jumpsuit on you! How tall are you?

    • I’m only 5’7″, which is why I love a good 3-inch heel lol!

Leave your two cents here (three cents is always better!)
