Let’s talk about Park Place for a minute. I’ve often met my girlfriends at Ingredient for quick lunches, attended a few events at the ALoft Hotel, and ice skated the shopping center’s rink; what I have not done is actually shopped there. I recently had the opportunity to be shown some of the shopping found at Park Place, and was introduced to the shops and many of the shop owners.
It was a quick afternoon; the weather was threatening to be unfriendly. After grabbing a quick lunch (Ingredient again) with my beautiful friend Julie, I stopped by Alysa Rene Boutique. It was fun to see a familiar face (Hi, Lauri!) and take a peak at what they had in store. The jewelry was my favorite part of this store, by far.
Next stop was EJ’s Boutique, home of stylish loungewear and comfortable knits (and Johnny Was.)
After the knits, I met Petra of Fitness-Culture. I instantly fell in love with the aesthetics of the brands she chooses, the friendliness of the staff, and the brands (and what that they stand for) that Petra stands behind.
Down the street and around the corner, we stopped by TalullahBelle’s, a perfect space full of handcrafted works of art (including Erin Paige Designs latest collection pieces.) This stop was beautiful and I never really wanted to leave.
Tornado warnings and darkening clouds had me sneaking in one last stop before seeking cover: Sweetpea & Company. This boutique makes me want to sing, “I’ve got gadgets and gizmos aplenty…” which is pretty much what they have. Best of all? Free embroidery.
I was ready to beat the rain, but not before ducking into Paciugo Gelato & Caffe for a small cup of gelato!
