Spring // Fall Layers

I have loved, loved, loved this dress from Shopbop!  I read a meme once that said mentioned something about maxi skirts being likened unto yoga pants – minus the crotch, naturally.  Sign me up lol!  Shopbop has maybe like, two sales per year and today kicked off their Tiered sale (the more you spend, the more you save – at least that’s what I tell The Mr, wink.)  Grab a few friends who have had their eye on say, a new leather bag (like this fun ) and combine their orders to get up to 25% (see details below.) Like this dress – it’s a bit sheer, but a silk slip underneath will take care of that.  It’s spring again and this dress is still on heavy rotation (in fact, I bought it in gray as well, before it sold out.)  I wore the heck out of this dress last summer, while in Europe.  I wore it the fall, but come winter there was nothing that was going to come between me and my fleece-lined yoga pants (cue Brooke Shields a la Calvin Klein ads.)  See below for a quick list you’ll want for layering a maxi dress this spring!

I have so many versatile pieces in my closet that I wear them year-round; that’s just one of the reasons I advise my clients not to have a seasonal closet, with the exceptions of winter-weight sweaters.

Thanks to Shopbop for sponsoring this post! As always (as if I needed to even mention it – okay so I do, for the FCC,) these thoughts and opinions are my own.
