Kansas City Fashion Week

In honor of all things Pretty, Polished, and Perfect,  I’ve decided create awards for this season’s Kansas City Fashion Week: PPPxKCFW Fashion Awards (golden trophies coming soon.)  I didn’t get a chance to attend every show, so these are the winners based on the Thursday and Saturday night shows:

We have such great talent in Kansas City, and every season Kansas City Fashion Week proves that we are in fact The Paris of The Plains.  From bow ties to ball gowns, these events are worth every penny you’ll spend on a ticket; VIP tickets almost always get you a swag bag worth more than you paid for the ticket, and a front row seat is the only way to see the incredible colors and details that walk down that runway each evening.  If you haven’t been to one of the shows, I highly recommend at least one (Fridays and Saturdays seem to be the most lively, with guests dressing to a T!)  I think next season I will encourage a few of my girlfriends to go with me – make it a weekend stay-cation at a local hotel, while trying some new restaurants downtown mixed with a bit of shopping.  Who wants to join me?

While Kansas City Fashion Week provided complimentary tickets for me to see the shows, all opinions are my own.

Leave your two cents here (three cents is always better!)
