Mixed Matches (Say That Three Times.)

I hate making decisions.  Which is why I wore two different pairs of shoes with this dress.  Maybe it’s Mix and Match, or maybe it’s I Change My Mind Like I Change My Shoes Day.  The only things I could agree upon were my dress, my jacket and my hair (and my hair really had no other options.)

Sunnies: Target
Dress: F21
Jacket: Old Navy
Shoes: Kohls
Necklace: George (that’s right, from Wal-mart.)
p.s. I like my mix-and-matches to be subtle, not blaringly obvious (yes, I do make up my own words.)  I’m afraid the in-your-face mix-and-matches are the ones that make me feel like I’m trying too hard.  Just sayin’.

Great outfit! I like the first shoes a little better, they give "visual weight" to balance the jacket and they just look sharp ^^

  2. I really like this outfit, and I think I like it better with the first pair of shoes.

  3. Erin says:

Thanks……I'm assuming the first pair are the high heel lace up boots?

  4. Erin says:

Thanks! I think after seeing the photos, I would have to agree.

Ahhh! What?! Polka dots and camo, totally blows my mind, man. You are adorable! Love the mix of sweet with tough. Love the boots for the same reason. Is that F21 dress a recent purchase? I must have it.

  6. Erin says:

Haha, Thanks! It is a recent purchase, I bought it about two weeks ago. Good luck!

  7. Oh my goodness, I LOVE this mix! The army print is an unexpected one for this challenge (most of what Ive seen are stripes and florals) and it looks awesome against the polka dots. And those boots! I adore your style

  9. Loving this, ESPECIALLY with the olive heels! You have made camo chic, which is quite an achievement! I found you through EBEW–come by and say hi if you have a sec, since I love meeting new blogging friends!

  13. I think the lace up boots work well with the jacket great print mix!

  14. OMG!!! i'm wearing the same jacket for my print mixing. great minds think alike 🙂 and you have totally inspired me to wear the fatigue print with a girly dress next.

btw what do you do with the ties on the jacket? mind never seem to stay in place and wind up just hanging…

  15. I so, so regret not snapping up that jacket at Old Navy. I love what you did – it looks fantastical.

  16. Neris says:

  17. found you on EBEW. Such a cool juxtaposition!

  18. Erin says:

Thanks! You are so kind (I'm kinda blushing here……)

  19. Erin says:

Thanks! I have come to love the EBEW challenges!

  20. Erin says:

    Haha, Thanks!

  21. Erin says:

    Thanks!

  22. Erin says:

I think camo and polka dots are my most favorite combination at this point! Thanks 🙂

  23. Erin says:

Haha, I figure if I ever decide I don't want the camo jacket, I will put it in the playroom as a costume for the boys.

  24. Erin says:

    Thanks! I love these boots!

  25. Erin says:

Haha, that's great! I just knotted them so they wouldn't hang down or show. I'm considering trimming them shorter, though. I just hate to do it, although I can't foresee a time that I will ever wish I had such long strings!!

  26. Erin says:

Are they not available anymore? It stays on my mind forever when I regret not picking something up…….especially when I go back and it's GONE!

  27. Erin says:

    Thanks!

  28. Erin says:

Thanks. I LOVE that you used the term juxtaposition 😉

  29. RelatableStyle says:

    Exactly 🙂

  30. Love the dress, but it is even better when paired with that camo jacket from Old Navy. Another EBEW blogger paired the same jacket – so much fun to see it work in two totally different ways. – Katy

  31. Erin says:

Thanks! I know, I saw the other blogger with the jacket. It's always great to see how other's choose to style the clothes I have. Another blogger styled her maxi skirt (that I have) with a red belt and I think I might have to try it that way! I love the ideas and inspirations that can be found out there in the bloggy-blog world 🙂

  32. Katie says:

TOTALLY digging this outfit. That dress is spot on!

  33. Erin says:

Thanks! I really liked this dress and jacket!
