DSW Family Event + $100 Giveaway

DSW carries kid's shoes now!

I have some very exciting news for my midwest (hello, St. Louis!) readers (and a great giveaway to say thank you to all my readers, no matter where you live!)  Megan Davey of ChasingDavies.com and I have teamed up with DSW to host a fabulous event to celebrate their latest in-store arrivals: kid shoes!!  Now the store that brings us designer shoes at not-so-designer prices can be a one-stop-shop for entire families (this coming from someone who despises the tedious task of buckling and un-buckling everyone into the car; the less stops the better, right?)  I appreciate the brands and trends they currently have; Nike is a classic for a family of boys, Sperry is so cute in mini-me boat shoes and you all know (at least you do now) I’m a sucker for those Vans skate shoes! To celebrate this momentous occasion, Meg and I have prepared some amazing fun for the whole family – Story Time, Special crafts, giveaways, sips + treats, and of course – a dress-up photobooth featuring accessories from DSW!  Join us at the DSW in St. Peters, MO on August 16th, from 10am until noon.  Visit Meg to read a little more about the details here.

No event is complete without benefiting the greater good, so we have teamed up with the Salvation Army to host a Children’s Shoe Drive (adult shoes are welcome as well!)  If you’ve got a pair (or two) of gently used shoes you’d like to donate, bring them with you and drop them in the special barrel (you can’t miss it!)

Be sure to RSVP to the event via facebook here, so we know you will be joining us!

We hope to see you all there, but until then please enter our giveaway for an amazing $100 gift card to DSW!  Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram, and for extra entries, share the event with your friends and family via facebook and twitter!  May the odds be ever in your favor 😉
